Better in 3's

For the Love
On his very special Day.

Yeah, that guy...

Everything is better in 3's for me.
You're three saving traits?

#1

You truly can make my day.
You can be silly with me.
You love my sillies (that's a word!)
And you try to make me smile.
All part of your silly-loving side.

#2

No matter how broken you are
(Spy the cane there... many uses it has seen)
you try hard to work,
to get through the day,
and to still make me feel better.
Even though you are the one downtrodden.

#3

You have been the better half.
No matter my mishaps, missteps,
or plain pitfalls
(more like endless sinkholes)
You have always been there to work with me.
To make me better.
If that's not proof you are an amazing person.
And no one loves me more.
I don't know what is.
(Maybe the fact that you DO put up with my shoe collection :)

It's been eight years since the first time.
My first love.
You came back 'round.

And it has to be for a reason.

I totally did this! It's not my horrible handwriting!

Tuesday DIY #4

Home Made Stamp
for cheap

Finishing Touches to
DIY Chalkboard

Materials:
Foam Sheet
X-acto knife
Glue
Some sort of wood backing
(I went with my LOVE heart. I have used the tiny wooden letters before)
Optional:
Letters for guidance

1. Make sure whatever you will glue your foam stamp to is completely clean. Unlike my little barcode heart here.

2.If needed, trace or measure the space for your foam stamp.

3. Now draw your stamp.

4. Cut it all out! You may want to trace it all out if you had a shape--- be smarter than me!

5. Now glue it all down.

6. If you used a clear dry glue, or traced the whole thing out then just let dry and you are done!

7. If not... then just let dry and grab like paint!

8. Let dry (again, jeeze am i smart). And NOW you are DONE!

Chalkboard Time!

I love finding things that make everything easy-
like the frame stand below that needs no gluing
or any real DYI-ing.

But lets me put on the magnets
that came with the dollar whiteboard.
YEY!

Oh the lovelies of the day!

(This is my luv-o's birthday week ^_^)

It has only been a day and a half since

Tuesday DIY #2

There are little words for loss.
For this Tuesday the DIY is to
just make yourself good company-
to love and remind you
of what one should live for.

Needed: The things you care about.

Instructions: Remember, enjoy, and cherish.

Happy Tuesday everyone,
Zuley

Friday Love #1

Haiku Poems

St. Patrick
Patrick of England
Preserving Erin's blood line
Drove out the serpents

via

Bought and watched this movie two times already.
Love it.
Love the concept of games and the story.

via
"Look at that high definition"
And I love Felix.

And still in search for the perfect budgeted red Mary Janes.
A style like the ones this and this would be amazing...
Maybe just not as high.

I work tomorrow so I have a six day work week.
But I'm sure the event will be fun!
So have a great weekend!

The Love Yourself Challenge

March, the month of my birth, I think is a good time to learn to love myself more.
Love myself and love the things in my life I might not notice.
So I think it’s the perfect time for another challenge:
via
Begins Now ^_^
via
On another note I finally jumped into Instagram! It is quite wonderful.
Makes me feel like a photographer, and since I am poor and don’t have Photoshop or anything close to it…
(Hello paint, my friend since middle school…) it’s also great to give a little something with the filters ^_^
I think I’ll see if I can document the things I loved today on it and share it in compilations here later.
Many things planned for loving myself this month. Many more things to plan! Let’s go March babies!

The Little Things

So I was cleaning the bathroom last night at ten
like any sane person would,
when I looked at my freshly filled soap dispenser
and was suddenly overwhelmed by the gorgeous
color swirl from the new soap I had decided
to purchase this time and the old soap.
Sure one was white the other peach,
so the contrast wasn't so decisive.

But what I thought about was how happy I felt each time
I implemented a new- often different colored-
soap in with an older soap.
Like a kid watching a magic show.

I looked around and found a couple of other things
that also made me happy every time.

My seashells on display:

And my newly-perfectly placed purse:

So I urge everyone on this Valentines Day dedicated to love.
To love all the little things
as well the big ones.
They can both make you very happy.
